Technical question
I'm technologically challenged. Could one of you experienced bloggers give me a quick lesson on how to add a link in my posts? Everyone seems to do it, so I guess it can't be that hard, right? Uh, right... Anyway, thanks in advance.
First, decide which word of your post you want to be a link. Such as FOOD or Weight Watchers Online etc. Then highlight those words with your cursor. Then in the compose mode of a new post, there's an icon on the tool bar that looks like a link with a green globe behind it. It is located next to the color palette with the letter T on it. Do you see it? When you click on it, a box appears for you to put your link into it. It already supplies the http:// so you just add the rest or copy and paste over what they have there. Sorry this isn't the clearest instruction. Blogger gives good help, you might want to check them out.
ReplyDeleteunderneath your posts there is a create a link link.
ReplyDeleteclick on that then click on edit html
you'll see in there where the http:// and the.html is. replace that with the address you want to link to. then replace the description (it will have your blog title in it) with what you want visible in your blog.
copy and paste that into your post.
let me know if you have questions.
Thank you both!!!
ReplyDeleteI did try to look at Blogger help, but it just didn't make sense to me.
I'll give both your methods a try this evening when I get home from work. (It started to rain last night and melted most of the snow, so I was able to get to work.) Thanks again!
