1. I have to take the aligners out whenever I want to eat or drink anything besides water
2. Right now, they are difficult and uncomfortable (approaching painful) to take out
3. Once they are out, my mouth is sore and a lot of the “joy” of eating is gone

Right now I’m feeling edgy and headachy and crabby too. It just occurred to me that I’ve been thinking…”Boy, I’ll be glad when I can take these things out for good.” Then I realized…it’s only been one day, so I better adjust my thinking.
To be honest, I think the headachy feeling may be more related to low blood sugar from not eating, rather than the aligners. So I think I’ll eat some yogurt. Also I just took a dose of Tylenol...temporarily, I may need to just keep up a steady dose of that in my bloodstream as that seems to help some.
Other than that, I think I just need to stop being a whiner!
Ugh. How many months do you have to wear them?
ReplyDeleteMiss Whiney Butt!
ReplyDeleteJust kidding...hehehe
Hang in there.
Doesn't sound like whining to me; it sounds pretty darned uncomfortable. May I recommend a smoothie or a shake or something to get some food down?
ReplyDeleteIt will probably be rough for a few days, but it won't be like this the whole time. How long will you have them?
ReplyDeleteYeah! BUT YOUR TEETH ARE GOING TO LOOK FANCY WHEN YOU ARE DONE!
