What can I say… After all my recent blah blah blah about eating consciously, without guilt, without compulsion, etc etc. Blah Blah. Whatever. These things are addictive. I should have just thrown them away or put them out for the vultures in the office to eat. Waaaay too tasty, too crunchy…too freaking EVIL. Long story short…I think I ate about half the bag...4 servings. Real healthy, right? Tomorrow the rest of the bag is going away…not sure where, but these are f'ing dangerous. Let someone else eat them.
Tonight I was able to get a few things out of my garden to add into our salad…

A few more Sun Golds, sugar snap peas,
and green & red onions…
or are they red green onions?
I’ve never grown these red onions before,
they’re quite tasty, pretty too.

I've never seen little red onions like that before - they are too cute - and they look delish!
ReplyDeleteCrispy and crunchy is my drug of choice. I have to avoid those things at all costs, as I have NO brakes. A serving for me? The whole damn bag every time. You only ate four servings? You are my hero. I don't know that I will ever develop moderation.
ReplyDeleteSugar snap peas, yum!
My arch enemy is Pop Chips. I can eat a bag of those "healthy" things in no time!
ReplyDeleteAlso was reading about your trip so see your mom. Sounds like it went pretty good, so good for you both.
And for the record....I like green!
The veggies look yummy!
ReplyDeleteI am a salty crunchy addict myself, but the picture of the fresh garden veggies is so much more appealing to all of us. And we can eat all of those that we want without guilt. It still babbles me as to why we eat what we eat!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the evil Sun Chips someone left in the lunchroom last week. Always someone putting free food in the lunchroom. I swear it's the devil trying to fatten me up.
ReplyDeleteI counted out 14 chips, one serving. A little piece of heaven, so much so that I had another serving. Thankfully someone else finished them or there would have been a 3rd and 4th serving.
I have food issues, what can I say? :)
