Just a quick post this morning...we're leaving Truckee and are headed to Elko, Nevada (for business, mostly).
Last night our friend took us to dinner in Reno at a Thai restaurant which was just divine. We had a whole fried fish that was so delicious...the crispy skin actually tasted like candy. Plus squid salad, phad thai, chicken with red curry, and for dessert...fried bananas with ice cream. OMG, the bananas were so wonderful!
Friends, I've GOT to stop eating like this or I'm going to explode. Maybe now that we are going to Elko where we don't know anyone, it will be easier to eat sensibly.
Well, I have to finish packing so we can get out the door soon. Once again, I don't know the internet situation where we are going, so you'll hear from me whenever I can connect next.

Aren't Thai people typically thin? (I will always find a way to justify Thai food!!)
