Treadmill time


It felt good to do some real exercise, the first in quite a while. 

463.5 calories burned; 3.52 miles
And my foot didn't hurt at all.

  1. I don't want to be a wet blanket but I read about the calories burned thing that our equipment tells us. We can put too much stock in that number. The information cautioned that we would have been burning calories anyway during that time so that number is not the "net" burned calories. You did burn a lot of calories so don't get me wrong but we do need to keep things in perspective. I know my "fat" brain used to use that number to think I had room to eat something I shouldn't. I know you have probably never done that :-) Great job.

    1. Good point about the calories burned. I was really more excited that I actually did some real exercise for a change, and that my foot didn't hurt (that was really exciting!). :-)

      To be honest, I don't count calories, so I don't even know why I included that info in the post. It was just part of the photo.

  2. Yay, that is so great... I am not a fan of the treadmill... I think it is awesome when someone can stick to it... I have track at my gym.. even that is not good enough when it is nice outside... I love walking outside as much as I can :) Good luck with getting back into the swing of thing... I am off to swim tomorrow :)
